Known for her work in documentary filmmaking, she has produced several significant films. Dr Shahba participated in an educational seminar for the Armed Forces on the 50th anniversary of the October War victory, where she stressed the importance of creating a digital platform to document the history of the war in ways that match modern technology and meet the needs of different groups and languages.
Among her notable documentary works is Chatter Over the Sea, which tells the heartbreaking stories of the victims of the Egyptian ferry Salam 98 in 2006. She also directed "Aash Guevara", which reflects on how Egyptian and Arab youth revived the image of the Argentine revolutionary on the 40th anniversary of his assassination.
In addition, Dr Shahba has contributed to specialized training programs in digital media, sharing her knowledge with professionals in the field through the United Media Academy.
